Any news on Sky HDR presentation?

Hi Guys, To be honest there is nothing new or exciting in Sky TV world, for me to upgrade my trusted HD TV to a spanking new 4K HDR TV set, as 4K is not a big a jump, without HDR The BBC showed during Football WC as to what HDR could do, but SKY and BT have not yet implemented HDR, and it's boringly business as usual with these broadcasters. If both of them have HDR content and in one platform, in Sky Q box, then I would upgrade now, the money is in the bank! I might have to delay my... HBO is nearing a pilot commitment for a prequel series based on the “Game of Thrones” companion book “Fire & Blood,” sources have confirmed to Variety. The book tells stories of previous Targaryen kings, like Aegon the Conqueror, the first ruler of Westeros, and Aegon the Dragonbane, all of whom are ancestors of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) who appear in the recently finished mega-hit series. Strange HDMI problem

Firstly, apologies for the long explanation but I felt it important. I have been having problems with my TalkTalk YouView box for a while now. TalkTalk technical assistance is pretty useless so I have been doing some investigation so that I can ultimately tell them to replace the box or else. My only problem is that I have a large amount of recorded material on this box so I am loathe to lose it or have to do any factory reset. Anyway, the problems began when the box started having trouble... Strange HDMI problem from AVForums https://ift.tt/2BSABBN

Denon X4400H owners thread

After much deliberation and mind changing I purchased a X4400H today from Richersounds in Leeds, excellent service. I have had only very short time to go through it's performance and I have not calibrated it fully yet. I have quickly set it up with a power amp and a pair of front speakers only, but here are some initial thoughts It was lighter than I expected, I not sure what impact that has in technical terms but it may be related to the transformer. Hi all, Got a bit of a dilemma and looking for some feedback and opinions on what options you would go for. I've been using TPLink powerline adapters to connect my TV and Android box to my router.
