I recently became aware that my parents were paying Sky handsomely despite only ever watching channels that are available on Freeview. Their only TV requirement in fact is the ability to record. So I've currently got a stereo set up with a pair of missions, a rotel RA-820ax, and a fiio Q1 from my pc, and I'm planning to gradually move to 7.1. Hello, I have just bought an used AVR-2312 and are having some trouble setting it up... The problem seems to be that the previous owner has been using some sort of «quick select» program, which the reciever is still using. Because of this, I can not switch between the different HDMI-inputs in the way that I am used to, aswell as I am having trouble connecting to my router. Do I have to reset it? In that case; how? I have a Arcam delta 290 & a Arcam delta 290p. Recently the source switch started playing up on the 290 so I opened it up and switched it to power amp mode (which cancels the preamp stage, & eliminates the problem) & have paired both amps up to a Linn Kollector pre amp. I have wired the 290 to the low terminals of the speakers, and the 290p to the high terminals. I've been plagued by lip sync issues for as long as I can remember. It drives me insane. I have a new Marantz NR1607, and my UBD-K8500 is connected via and admittedly cheap HDMI2 cable that seems to pass UHD 4K content and HDR where supported with no problems. I have various content available on the UBD: Netflix, Amazon, iPlayer and DLNA streaming of Blu-ray rips etc. If I nail the lip sync via the amp in Netflix then iPlayer will be out, if I nail it in iPlayer then Amazon will be out...
