Bi-Amping (I think)

I have a Arcam delta 290 & a Arcam delta 290p. Recently the source switch started playing up on the 290 so I opened it up and switched it to power amp mode (which cancels the preamp stage, & eliminates the problem) & have paired both amps up to a Linn Kollector pre amp. I have wired the 290 to the low terminals of the speakers, and the 290p to the high terminals.
This was suggested in the arcam manuals, but after reading further info on biamping they seem to suggest I need a crossover in...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
