Non atmos TV with Samsung Q700a Atmos soundbar

I have a 2 year old Samsung TV that doesn't support Dolby Atmos. It runs Tizen and the Netflix app shows atmos.

I want to purchase a Samsung Q700a sound bar to use with the TV. It's only used for Netflix and has no external media players or boxes (I.e. sky)

Will I get Atmos on the soundbar from the built in TV apps? I'm getting conflicting answers from Samsung.

If I can't get real atmos, does this mean some of the speakers in the sound bar simply won't work, or is there an option to have...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
