HS2 Approved - Great news for the North!

....only it doesn't get to the North!

When is Westminster going to realise that Newcastle is nearly 100 miles North of Leeds, likewise Sunderland, Carlisle, etc. And to get to Berwick upon Tweed, is another 60+ miles North again!

Basically, with all due respect to Leeds and Manchester etc. But they are not The North of England, there is quite a way to go before you reach The North!

...and then people wonder why the largest proportion of Brexit voters came from the North...

There’s a rock song that came out a few years ago. And I have a very vague description of it. The music video starts with a guy walking around a bar recording himself. There was another guy in the back that killed someone and kills the guy recording himself. When the band is playing the ground is like glass and there is blue lights. Under the administration of President Ram Nath Kovind, the Prime Minister, his council of ministers will also take oath at a dazzling ceremony that will be attended by world leaders, celebrities and politicians. A record number of 8,000 guests are likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony. In 2014, approximately 5,000 people attended the ceremony.
