Onkyo HT-R340 turns on, shows junk on the display, then turns off. Is this worth trying to fix?
I thought I found a deal so I bought a HT-R340 for my girlfriend from Goodwill for like $35. Like I said in the title, it powers on, then after a few seconds shows a mess of characters on the screen, then it powers off and the standby LED blinks. I opened it up to see if there were any blown capacitors but they all look fine to me. To be honest, this stuff is pretty new to me, so I don't really know what I'm looking at. It doesn't seem like there are any spots that have been getting too hot...
