2 Channel setup old vs. New improvements

The Wife and I are doing a remodel of the house and I found that to be an excuse to upgrade a few of my systems. This one is in the living room, a large room with a vaulted ceiling that peaks at about 25 feet, leaving a lot of open space. The entire room (Living room and Formal dining room is 15' wide by 35-40 feet long. Currently I have the following setup;
Logictech Squeezebox Touch
Technic 10 band EQ
Integra 2.1 amp
Speakers:
F;uance SX (Elite) Towers

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
