Wired vs WiFi?

Ok, must have asked before. Wired directly from the router to the streamer, or WiFi.
Is there any difference. Or, is it possible that there could be any difference?

TV pixelating issue

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me as this issue has be baffled. So my TV has pixel flashes they seem to be an equidistant and random colours (They are constantly there but flash different colours). This happens when connected to my Virgin box and other sources with no media input attached. Yet... When i attach my laptop to the TV, there is no issue whatsoever!
