Big Eltax Vs Tiny Kef

Hi everyone.
We're (hopefully) moving house soon but the space for the TV is likely to be smaller than what we currently have.
At the moment we have a budget system of an old Pioneer receiver (vsx-c501) with a Mission centre speaker and sub, then as pair of Eltax Xtreme 400's as the front speakers and Eltax Symphony bookshelf speakers as the rears.
But I'm looking at getting some much smaller speakers, such as the Kef 3001 5.1 system with either a Sony STR-DN1000 or Pioneer VSX-1020...
