Is 8k the future of blu rays?

So having seen the recent information that Sony and Microsoft's next generation consoles will feature 8K support from release, is 8K media really that close? LG and Samsung have also released 8K TV panels, so it feels like 8K content is only 2-3 years away. It feels like 4K has not been out that long, and their is barely any 4K content (streaming services do not have many 4k titles, and the ones that do generally have lower bitrates than a 1080p bluray). It seems the main source of 4K...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
