Soundbar options moving from amp and speakers

I am moving to a new place and the living area is relatively cosy and was looking to reduce the bulk of my current Sony amp, Mordaunt Short speakers and sub and was looking into a decent soundbar as an option.

Some gaming, but mainly music and tv and I know I need to listen, but wondering if you have any advice as to a shortlist of 2 or 3? Budget around £1k.

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
