How to get rid of Mini TV function on LG TV?

G'day,

I have a 43" LG Smart TV and all was good until my Foxtel Now box did an automatic upgrade and I cannot even use the Kayo Sports app on it as it keeps telling me that the installed version is not compatible.

So, I had to used the browser on the TV to watch Kayo Sports on it, only there is the dreaded black rectangle in the lower right of the screen.

It turns out tht this is where the "Mini TV" is displayed, however even after turning the Mini TV feature off, the black rectangle...

How to get rid of Mini TV function on LG TV?
