Transmitting sound from projector

Hi
I've just bought a cheap (non bluetooth) projector to create Halloween illusions for the kids using a transparent film over the windows.

Its all up and running playing .mp4 files from a usb stick but I'd like to transmit the sound outside to a bluetooth (BT) speaker, which I was told could be done via a BT transmitter/receiver.

So, I bought one of these thinking it's just a case of plugging it into the audio out (headphone) jack but it doesn't work. I checked that the BT...
