Which CD Player?

Having recently gone back to having separates, I’m looking at what CD player to get.

My OCD tells me to look at the silver Marantz CD6006 to match my silver PM7000N but then I wonder if the CD5005 will do, particularly as I do not need the USB inout on the CD6006.

Alternatively, I could look to the Audiolab 6000CD transport as I have digital inputs on the PM7000N.

Please may I have some thoughts on:
  1. Whether the CD5005 is a match to the CD6006 (for CD playback)
  2. Would the...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
