New VW with SD card

Wife picked up her new car last week. A 2020 VW Passat SE NAV 7 Speed DSG. Discover Navigation fitted.

Problem 1: The car has two SD card slots in the glove box. I copied a load of Flac music files onto a SanDisk 16gb card but none of these files would play - "No Playable files" - according to onscreen message. Tried a few different cards with same result. I even converted a few files to mp3 but no different. According to VW owners manual the system will play many types of files including...
