Replace Pioneer SC-LX83 With Denon AVR-X6400H?

As the title says really, considering replacing my Pioneer SC-LX83 with a Denon AVR-X6400H?

Thoughts?

Upgrade or possible downgrade in audio performance? We listen to a good mix of just music (stereo) and films (5.1).

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
