Is HDR capability worth it in non-oled panels? My thoughts.

Hey everyone, I'd love your feedback on this, as I'm currently in the market for a new TV! :)

I understand that HDR, even at its brightest, doesn't cause blooming on an OLED; the individually controlled pixels protect against this. But on an LCD/LED panel it can cause blooming, as seen on some Sony sets (X950G, X900F, X900E). Alternatively, this can be protected against with aggressive anti-bloom measures as seen on Samsung sets (Q70R, Q80R, Q90R, etc), but this often results in black crush...

Is HDR capability worth it in non-oled panels? My thoughts.
