TV etc. connection help

Hello
I have a LG OLED65B8PUA, VIZIO SB46312-F6-46 3.1.2, and a 4k (i was told) Xfinity DVR.
It was connected by a friend but I'm having issues as the TV switches to an inactive input every time it is turned it on and the soundbar audio breaks up.
Can anyone let me know the best way to connect this equipment?

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
