I've looked on the forum and a bit online and I see no real reviews by anyone technical apart from teenagers in their car playing it full tilt. I was wondering if this a good bang for the buck driver as it's 15 inch and is rated to 1100w and 3300w peak. The excursion looks immence on videos I do say, but power and excursion does not tell the full story to a sub as we know. I was wondering should I pull the trigger on this for £200 as apposed to a lab 12 c for £100... Looking for the most... So finally have the screen up and pretty impressed with the picture. Only issue I have is that I can see the black support bar through the screen. On very bright pictures I can also see the 3 speakers that sit behind the screen. These have white covers on. Spitfire have told me it is essential for a screen over 120 inch to have the support bar but to get rid of the black line I would ideally need to remove the support bar. Any suggestions. I am re-furbishing a pair of KEF Reference 201 I have just bought and have a question. Anyone know how to get the bass driver out? I have removed the three bolts for the bezel, then the three screws for the drive chassis but both speakers have the assembly stuck to the speaker case. Hi Just got the Optoma UHD 300x projector. It’s been great so far so decided to get my Sky Q 2TB box moved upstairs to link it up. When I connect it to the 4K HDMI port I get a black flicker every couple minutes on UHD, 1080P and 1080i used the normal sky hdmi cable, tried a 4K one from amazon and awaiting for another one to arrive today. I'm not sure exactly what "PCM" means, but when I choose that setting instead of "Dolby Digital", I get much better results. The audio is louder and the surround sound is more, well, surround. I've been having a bear of a time trying to figure out the settings and getting 5.1 to work right. The main issue is only getting audio out some of the speakers. "PCM" has given the overall best-sounding result and gives audio out of all the speakers. But with "Dolby Digital" I... Hi, I just got this receiver and it does most of what I want and more. However, I want to digitize my vinyls and would like to have a wireless connection to my PC. I tried Bluetooth and can't get it working. Sending music to the Yamaha works fine, but not the other way. There is a send Bluetooth function for wireless speakers/headphones but it would not connect to my PC. No idea what I am doing wrong here. I also can't find any way to use WiFi. Hi guys, As I have one of these on loan and just placed an order for one I thought maybe start an owners thread. Firstly, this is a return to form for Arcam to me. Its not like the DV series for build quality (its not bad at all though) but for 2 channel audio it finally beats my old DV139. The sound is more open, detailed and clean. Caught this today at the premiere. I'm a huge Superman fan (my favourite comic book character) and was excited to attend. The movie starts of promisingly, especially with the use of the 'original score' and the visual effects are a sight to behold. Hi I'm playing 4k discs via my Xbox One S. I've got 2 Kef Atmos speakers as part of my setup at the front wired into my RX-V781. Even though I select Dolby Atmos in the disc menu, the Amp reports Dolby TrueHD in the display on the front. Strangely if I press the Pure Direct button, the display goes off and then press again the display reports Atmos for a second before reverting to TrueHD. Anyone else got this set up?
