HDR-1000S v HDR-1100S

I fear I have become the latest inductee of the "HDR-1000S won't talk to it's HDD" club.

Swapping HDD's hasn't helped, nor reset to factory defaults, nor leaving the unit off for a couple of hours.

Thus far Humax are not offering a repair, so it looks like I need to buy a new box.

There doesn't appear to be much choice in the FreeSat marketplace and I've no particular gripes with my incumbent Humax (apart from it being rather ugly and not working.)

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
