Has my sub just blown?

Hi All,
i have a kef htb2se and it’s just made a booming sound that made us all jump. It was during a tv broadcast with music but hardly any bass. It’s certainly been louder on many many occasions.
There is now no output from the sub at normal volumes (the lights are all on). If I go into the Audessey speaker setup and manually boost the bass it can be heard and doesn’t sound distorted.
Any ideas? Is it dead?

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
