Best sites for oldies, esp. Fifties ?
I subscribed to Sirius in my car and listened to their 1950s section.
It was horrible. I grew up in the Fifties. There were many great tunes and
ballads. I recognized very little of what was on Sirius. No Belafonte , Gogi Grant,
Bobby Darin, Johnny Mathis, Paul Anka. If played they were rare. Most of the junk
on Sirius was somewhat "hard rock", often with high-pitched screaming.
Few if any "Hit-Parade" tunes. Worse than no music at all. Dropped my...
