Whole home audio craziness!

Last year I bought a new Samsung tv. With the new tv, I lost my rca audio output which is what we used to feed the Home Theater amp the source of audio. So we upgraded to an Onkyo TX-NR676 for HDMI capabilities. With the new amp we lost Analog audio output for our whole home audio amplifier.
I’ve tried all sorts of digital audio to rca converters, hdmi to rca etc. None of which provide a strong enough signal to feed the whole home amp. I’m down to my last straw of HDMI splitter to another...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
