Using REW without SPL meter

Hi,

I have a P12-300SB-PR Sub but feel like im not getting the most from it. Before I spend more money on an anti-mode, is there a way I can measure the frequency levels without spending a load of money on spl meters and expensice mics? My laptop doesnt have lineout so would a USB mic be ok? Do I need an spl meter, as Im sure I watched a video of REW and they werent using an spl meter.

Once setup and tests have been run, will it be obvious if I have any flat spots etc, and if an antimode...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
