Should I repair my 1985 amplifier?

Hi everyone, first time here! For quite a few years I've resorted to listening to music using a studio amp and an analogue mixer as my hifi amp got a bit burnt by a power surge. I'm fed up with this! So I'd like to understand if it's worth repairing (some caps, resistors, and one transistor) my Cyrus Two amp, which was pretty darned good when it worked, or buying something new, such as the Marantz PM-6006.
