Hit 40, need projector I can see well

The worst part about hitting 40 years old is that everything seems dimmer with my eyes and I need reading glasses. I crave being able to see things clearly again. I'm hoping I can get temporary respite while watching movies on a bright screen.

I know televisions are far better for this but my only option is a projector.
I could use your ideas on what I should be looking for--High lumens, good blacks, etc?

Budget is under 2k USD.(I also need an amp and speakers but I'll save that for...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
