2.1 setup

I'm settled on the LG C9 and am going to upgrade my AV receiver to a Sony STR-DN1080 or perhaps a Denon AVRX2600H (I'm edging to the Denon at the mo).

What I also need is speakers, but I'll probably have to go with a 2.1 setup as the TV position is quite tight, it leaves no room at the sides of the TV and apart from the sub I can't use the other speakers of a 5.1 setup.

Two questions really:

1. Can I ignore having a centre speaker if the 2 front speakers are good enough? By this I...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
