A new adaptation on it's way from Mammoth Screen, the company behind BBC's Poldark, with Doctor Who writer Peter Harness (‘Kill the Moon’, ‘The Zygon Invasion’) reportedly developing the mini-series set in the same Victorian period and setting of the original novel. Filming is due to start in 2017.
