PM Modi meets Armenian counterpart in New York

Strengthening a valued friendship, PM Modi met President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid in New York on the sidelines of UNGA.

Both leaders had a fruitful discussion on deepening the age-old relationship between the two countries. With an aim of further boosting bilateral ties, Prime Minister Modi met his New Zealand counterpart Jacinda Ardern in New York on the margins of UNGA.

Both leaders discussed ways to boost strategic ties and deepen cooperation in various areas. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Belgium counterpart Charles Michel on the sidelines of the 74th UN General Assembly Session in New York.

Both the leaders had an engaging conversation on expanding the warm and friendly bilateral relations.

The leaders agreed to intensify their efforts on early conclusion of negotiations on the Bilateral Investment and Trade Agreement, connectivity, closer cooperation on counter-terrorism,  multilateral institutions, and migration and mobility.

PM Modi congratulated Charles Michel on his election as the President of the European Council.
