LG55B8 - DD5.1 using YouTube app?

My LG55B8 outputs optical to DD/DTS5.1 perfectly fine to my aging Cambridge Audio Azur 540, using Netflix, Amazon Prime, Plex and Photo & Video apps. Also using Sky and Xbox One.
However, none of the YouTube videos played from the TV's app are in DD5.1, even tbose that say tbey should be.
Is this a problem with the TV or the app?

Does anyone else get DD5.1 using YouTube?

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
