I have a old AV receiver and confused?

I have a Arcam Avr350

I would like to set it up in my bedroom with a 5.1 setup.... From past memory I think it does dolby prologic 2 as well as other out of date audio

I would be looking to set this up with a nvidia shield, so would be using passthrough, via optical (kodi) as it doesn't do audio over HDMI.
I would be playing audio formats like, True HD, dts HD, as well as the audio formats from netflix and amazon prime.

So the question is!, as this AV receiver doesn't naturally support...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
