The New Mutants (April 3, 2020) directed by Josh Boone

FOX is ready to expand the X-Men universe by tapping director Josh Boone (The Fault In Our Stars) to co-write and direct the standalone spin-off.

The series, already part of the X-Men Comics universe, introduces a new crop of mutant characters born with special powers.

Boone will co-write with Knate Gwaltney.

Simon Kinberg will produce with Lauren Shuler Donner.
