Novice question - banana plugs too big

Hi all. I have some biwire speaker cables which I previously had connected to my Marantz PM 66 KI amp. Unfortunately the Marantz has packed in so I've bought a Yamaha AS501, however the banana plugs on the speaker cabling is too big for this amp.....what are my options? Can I strip the. A long back and use it without banana plugs? Sorry if this is a ridiculous question, I just have no experience of this!

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
