Protests over Hong Kong's extradition bill continues

From an airport sit-in to violent clashes in a suburban area to aimless marches through busy shopping districts, protests in Hong Kong does not seem to die down.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators have taken over streets near Sai Wan and Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island.

Hong Kong has seen eight consecutive weekends of anti-government and pro-democracy protests against a proposed bill that would allow people to be extradited from the city to stand trial in courts in mainland China.

It is ranked as one of the safest cities in the world but recent protests have been followed by violent clashes between demonstrators, police and masked men wielding sticks suspected of being criminal gang members.

Meanwhile, UAE has issued travel warning for Hong Kong. It has advised visitors not to wear black or white.
