43' UHD LG or Samsung. Are 2017 models better?

So, i am a new member, even though, i have been watching most of the questions and threads posted for over a month, mostly because i want to purchase a new 43'(that is the most suitable for the space i have,and yes, i know as seen from many conversations that the bigger the TV is,the better.) UHD TV for my room. Mostly used for Netflix and movies,in dark room,so if i am not mistaken i'll be better off with a VA type of panel.The thing is that, initially, i was looking for LG UK6950....
