What is a minority?

First off i'm white , 53yo, secondary schools education I've been schooled lived and worked , pay my taxes never break any laws break any rules and respected any one and everyone, I am athiesst and day to day I feel disconected from and the the minority from the country of my birth .

Question , is this a religious or Soverenty effect ? Or a mix of both ,or indeed neither but pure national pride .

Mine is easy, worth exploring though ?
