Media player picture quality.

Currently I have a Zidoo x8 media player. Which I'm very happy with. However, the picture quility of ripped media, even 1:1 copies is not as good as playing the original on my Sony x700 uhd blu ray player. Is the due to the Zidoo picture processing compared to the x700?

Are there any media players on the market than can compare with the standalone discs players picture quality wise?

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
