PM confers National Youth Parliament Festival, 2019 awards

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday conferred the National Youth Parliament Festival Awards 2019 in Delhi.... he even distributed the certificates to the winners and cash prize of Rs 2 Lakh, Rs 1.5 Lakh and 1 Lakh to the best three speakers ... these award winners had the opportunity to share their thoughts with the Prime Minister.... Prime Minister appreciated their energy and devotion .

While speaking on the occasion Prime Minister said that young people have the advantage of freshness and new ideas, enabling them to face new challenges more effectively.

PM said youth should follow their dreams and they must play a pivotal role in making of New India. ... He even expressed concern over low productivity of Rajya Sabha.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also launched the Khelo India mobile app, aimed to bring awareness on fitness and sports. The App is a first-of-its-kind sports application that makes for valuable information for readers.

Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi through his dedication and hard work has made impossible, possible .

Winners of National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 also shared their thoughts during the award ceremony.

The National Youth Parliament Festival 2019 has been jointly organised by National Service Scheme and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports on the theme of 'Be the Voice of New India and Find solutions and Contribute to Policy'. More than 50 thousand youths participated through Youth Parliaments at all levels. 56 final contestants were selected for National Youth Parliament.
