Best setup for Plex?

I was running Plex on a RPI3 with a 1TB HDD over USB This worked just fine but I have filled this up and have decided to swtich to a more "expandable" option and turn the Pi into a torrenbox.



I have a old HP Proliant 110 G6 with a Xeon X3450 with 4GB of RAM(If anyone has any for sale let me know :D , 1 x 3TB WD Red and a WD Green 120GB SSD



When I used this server last I used ESXI 5.5 /Hypervision, Would I be better running the OS (Windows 10) "baremetal" or continue with...
