Symposium on 'Gandhi Today' held in Kathmandu

Eminent leaders from Nepal and India attended the programme and highlighted the importance of Gandhian thoughts and principles in today's world.

In his address, first President of Nepal, Dr. Ram Baran Yadav said it is very necessary to follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi to solve all current problems.

Convener of Naya Shkati Party and Former Prime Minister of Nepal, Dr. Baburam Bhattari stressed upon the need to develop a scientific base for Gandhian philosophy.

Vice President of Nepali Congress, Bimalendra Nidhi said that Mahatma Gandhi had given thoughts for all areas of life and it is essential to create awareness about his life style.

Senior Leader of Nepal Communist Party, Ram Karki said whatever Gandhiji believed he had also adopted it in his life.

Former Finance and External Affairs Minister of India, Yashwant Sinha underlined the importance of Gandhian thoughts to tackle the climate change issues.

Renowned actor and Member of Parliament, Shatrughan Sinha said Mahatma Gandhi was a comprehensive personality and he expressed his views on all subjects.

The event was organised by Centre for Research and Sustainable Development Nepal, Gandhian Studies and Peace Center and Nepal Policy Center.

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
