Samsung HW-N950 on TV without Arc

I'm trying to figure out if the HW-N950 I just bought is going to work with my admittedly dated Pioneer PDP-6070HD Plasma.

I was hoping I could connect my stuff as so:
  • Cable box (HDMI Out) -> HDMI Cable -> (HDMI In 1) HW-N950
  • HW-N950 (HDMI Out Arc) -> HDMI Cable -> (HDMI In - Not Arc) PDP-6070HD
I have no intention of using the tuner on my TV, but wanted to pass my cable through the soundbar for sound via HDMI and then out to the TV for video, but I'm not getting any...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
