PM Modi arrives in Buenos Aires to attend G20 Summit

Argentina, world’s 8th largest country situated at  southern most tip of South America, beautiful land of colourful Tango and Land of soccer is all set host top leaders for 10th Edition of powerful G-20 summit.

Year 2018 marks important milestone for G20 which was formed in 2008 to deal with Global Financial Crisis.

The top leaders would try to assess the progress made in last 10 years while preparing blueprint for the next 10 years. 

Prime Minister Modi is globally acclaimed for his vision for new world order and G20 has made him the lead speaker on the theme "Putting People first " while he will make short interventions in other sessions on "building consensus "and "Opportunities in infrastructure and food security ". 

Prime Minister will focus on many issue concerning different aspects of human welfare. 

He will talk about Digital Revolution for future employment. He will discuss idea of Digital India and Skill India. Prime Minister will deliberate on important global issue of Women Empowerment during his intervention on the topic "Future of Work ".

Prime Minister will dwell upon various Social welfare and inclusion Programs of the NDA government like Jan Dhanyojana , Start Up India, Mudra Scheme and the implementation of GST .

He will highlight the risk posed by economies arising out of fluctuations in prices and supply of Crude Oil.

Prime Minister would also extend his idea of One World One Sun One Grid to G20 forum and will pitch for expansion of International Solar Alliance beyond Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn.

First raised in Hamburg G20 summit in 2017, Prime Minister will urge G20 Nations to participate is creating Global Disaster Resilient Infrastructure. He will also deliberate on disaster management and make a strong case of transfer of technology on crucial social issues between the nations. Prime Minister will also lay equal stress on empowering the WTO.

The Prime Minister will meet leaders of several countries on the sidelines of the Summit to exchange views on bilateral matters of mutual interest. He will have a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier XI Jingping, Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany and President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

Apart from that there will be a trilateral meeting US President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on the sidelines of the G-20 summit.

Prime Minister on 29th November would participate in an Cultural cum Yoga Event and will address more than 5000 to 10000 people at one of the biggest event spot La Rural. 

There are only 200 families of Indian origin in Argentina. But the Indian culture and Yoga are becoming popular in the South American nation. 

G20 is also expected to discuss food security, block chain technology and regulation of crypto currency . On the sidelines people are also expecting some trade deal among ongoing trade war between US and China 

Prime Minister is always welcomed by the people of Indian origin who don’t mind waiting for hours for him. He was greeted by a vociferous group of his supporters as soon as he arrived in his hotel in Buenos Aires too. Prime Minister greeted and shook hands with many of them, especially the children before proceeding to his room.
