Electioneering in top gear in Rajasthan, Telangana

BJP on Thursday released its manifesto for assembly polls in Telangana. Apart from promising to give one lakh cows to farmers free of cost, it promises a Rs. 10 cut in VAT per litre on petrol and diesel.

It also promises to give free laptops to degree students. Some other promises made in manifesto include creation of One lakh jobs within three months of assuming office, providing free scooties to college going students and reviving Pension scheme for old age people.

While, it also promises controlling liquor sales in the state. Further, it promises farm loan waiver scheme up to two lakhs and to hike retirement age from 58 to 60. Polling in Telangana will be held on 7th of next month.

RAJNATH SINGH CAMPAIGNS FOR BJP IN TELANGANA

Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh on Thursday addressed a public meeting in Wanaparthy and Nagarkurnool, in Telangana. He hit out at state governmentfor not doing anything for the welfare of farmers.

BJP president Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Karauli, Rajasthan. Slamming Congress president Rahul Gandhi, he said that Conress has lost its ground in the country.

CONGRESS RELEASES ELECTION MANIFESTO FOR RAJASTHAN POLLS

Congress also released its election manifesto for Rajasthan, promising to waive the loan of farmers and provide free education to women and jobs to youth.
