Did HTC buy StarVR?

A few days ago Acer removed StarVR from the stock market and rumours are abound to why.

My theory is HTC have bought StarVR. Why? Because Pimax came from nowhere and is taking pre-order on a headset that will beat HTCs Vive Pro with ultra wide FOV.

HTC who license their technology from Valve could be sidelined by Valve who are themselves rumoured to be releasing a HMD next year.

So HTC could find themselves out in the cold.

But.....Acer who have just developed the StarVR headset may not...

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
