Sri Lankan PM inaugurates 8th Colombo Defence Seminar

The two day seminar will deliberate on the theme ‘Security in an era of Global disruptions’.

In his keynote address, Wickremsinghe said there are multi-dimensional global disruptive forces which can weaken state and called upon the need to identify gaps to meet such challenges.

He asserted that conflicts in modern era are not limited to conventional means and rapid change in science and technology have opened new frontiers like new and social media, artificial intelligence and robotics, big data and fake news etc.

The seminar is organized by Sri Lankan army every year since 2011 to discuss and deliberate on contemporary security issues.

Former chief of Indian army General Bikram Singh is among the dignitaries participating.

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell.
