Panasonic DMPUB400 or Xbox One S?

I’ve just started looking at BR players, noticed that the Xbox One S is only slightly more expensive than the Panasonic UB400, looking at the features it seems like a no brainer to get the Xbox over a stanalone BR player. Is there anything I’m missing?

I know that a quality decoder will make a difference to the signal converted but since both players are still outputting digital signal, Im guessing it shouldn’t have any difference?

I have an AVR and a 4K tv.

Hi, I'm new here. I've just sold my Arcam FMJ P7 to a great guy who is on these forums. So I now have my Arcam FMJ AV9 pre-amp to sell. This has been a great processor for me, and I can honestly be thankful to it for revealing subtle elements on recordings that no other pre-amp has given me.
